Summer Barbecue brings Tytherington Business Village together

On Wednesday, 17th July, Orbit Developments organised a Summer Barbecue exclusively for the community at Tytherington Business Village, offering a welcome pause from the daily grind and a chance to unwind.

Between 12:00pm and 2:00pm, office tenants were treated to delicious food featuring freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs, complemented by chilled soft drinks and classic ice cream.

But the afternoon wasn’t just about the food. The team set up a variety of outdoor games—including giant Jenga and Swingball—to spark friendly competition and encourage mingling. Music played in the background while deckchairs dotted the lawn, creating a laid-back atmosphere perfect for relaxing.

The turnout was impressive, with many attendees expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to step away from their desks, meet fellow professionals, and enjoy the sunshine.

Dean Richards, Surveyor at Orbit Developments, shared his thoughts:

“It was brilliant to see so many people enjoying themselves—whether it was the food, the games, or simply catching up with others. With such a diverse mix of businesses across the site, it’s easy to stay within your own bubble, so events like this really help foster a sense of connection.

We’re committed to nurturing a stronger community spirit here at Tytherington Business Village. Alongside initiatives like yoga and mindfulness sessions, our on-site café continues to be a popular meeting point. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum with more events ahead.”

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day a success. We’re already looking forward to next year’s gathering!

Orbit Developments Extends Partnership with Macclesfield FC for the 2025/26 Season

Orbit Developments has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local sport by extending its partnership with Macclesfield FC for the 2025/26 football season. This marks the third consecutive year that the leading North West commercial property specialist has sponsored the club.

Since its rebirth in 2020, Macclesfield FC has gone from strength to strength, quickly reclaiming its place as one of the region’s most exciting football stories. The 2024/25 season was particularly memorable, with the team storming to victory in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, winning 35 of their 42 fixtures and claiming the title by an impressive 26-point margin. The achievement secured their promotion to the National League North, placing them just two tiers below the English Football League.

Orbit Developments’ long-standing connection to the town of Macclesfield is reflected not only through its sponsorship of the club but also through its extensive property portfolio in the area, including Tytherington Business Village, Silk Point, and Lyme Green Retail and Business Park.

Dean Richards, Regional Leasing Director at Orbit Developments and a proud Macclesfield resident, commented on the renewed partnership:

“We’re delighted to continue our support of Macclesfield FC and wish the team every success for the upcoming season. Their determination and community spirit make them a fantastic club to partner with.”

The sponsorship forms part of Orbit Developments’ wider mission to invest in grassroots and community-led initiatives across the North West, helping to strengthen local connections and celebrate shared success.

As the Silkmen gear up for their debut in the National League North, anticipation is high for another exciting campaign. Orbit Developments is proud to continue backing the club and the community it represents.
